Omniwomen UK + Allies Leadership Summit - March 8, 2019

For the fifth consecutive year, Omniwomen UK + Allies geared up for its annual Leadership Summit on International Women’s Day. This year’s theme was ‘Supporting Diverse Paths to Leadership’ to celebrate and enable women from all backgrounds to fulfill their potential.?

Around 300 Omniwomen UK delegates enjoyed a day of workshops, discussions and reflection along with talks from inspirational and diverse speakers. The?speakers included disability inclusion activist Dr Caroline Casey, Ruth Hunt of Stonewall and Sophie Walker – former leader of the UK Women’s Equality Party. Omniwomen Dallas Launch Event - March 7, 2019

Omniwomen Dallas launched with a packed room of women representing Omnicom agencies from all over Dallas. In 2019, Omniwomen Dallas will be supporting High Tech High Heels, an organization that funds programs to help young girls get interested in science and math, and eventually maximize the number of girls majoring in STEM fields in college. A group of young women from The Hockaday School in Dallas brought their award winning projects and showed off their innovative solutions to problems that astronauts experience in space, as well as their incredible robots. The day was extraordinary, celebrating and supporting the launch of Omniwomen Dallas and IWD.?

International Women's Day 2019 - March 8, 2019


On International Women’s Day, Omniwomen around the world came together to celebrate the professional and personal achievements of women within the Omnicom family?and reflect on progress made. This year's theme, #BalanceforBetter, encouraged women to think about what balance means in their lives, both personally and professionally. Internationally, Omniwomen chapters raised money for female charities, invited guest speakers to discuss the importance of IWD, hosted networking events and much more.

"Be The Best That You Can Be" - September 9, 2016

On Friday, September 9, Omniwomen held an event?to inspire and celebrate female staff across the Omnicom network in Greater China. Unveiled during the event was a campaign?developed by TBWA Shanghai?using real testimonials where women share their stories on how their personal passions are reflected in their professional lives. This was followed by a panel discussion with the women featured in the campaign, and the announcement of a series of upcoming career nurturing initiatives to bring together female talent in an open and supportive environment for sharing, networking and learning.

Importance of Female Leadership in the 21st Century - March 15, 2016


From those that are creating programs to help women ascend the ranks, to those that fostering more inclusive leadership in their companies, this conversation helped to shed light on the role members of the c-suite play in this evolution by confronting the gender equality issue head on.?

The historic “He For She” style panel was comprised of CEOs from Omnicom’s five networks, including Andrew Robertson of BBDO; Chuck Brymer of DDB; Dale Adams of Diversified Agency Services (DAS); Daryl Simm of Omnicom Media Group; and Troy Ruhanen of TBWA all of whom shared their distinct point of view on this business imperative. The hour-long session was moderated by award winning writer and former Bloomberg journalist, Diane Brady.

Omniwomen UK Leadership Summit - March 8, 2016

On March 8th, International Women's Day, Omniwomen UK held their second annual leadership Summit. The daylong training program was designed to inspire 200 of Omnicom’s rising female stars across its UK companies. Attendees heard from speakers across the Omnicom family on a variety of important and exciting topics, from inclusive leadership to cracking confidence. The event also brought together men and women from C-suite executives to academics, campaigners and psychologists, offering Omnicom UK’s female leaders a great forum in which to meet, share and learn.

Women in the Creative Class - October 29, 2016


It may seem there are plenty of women at all levels within our industry- we know them, we work with them, we work for them - but in the creative field, it's still a fierce battle to get to the top. To succeed, it will require an industry with greater understanding of diverse experiences, opportunities for mentorship, and redefined leadership roles. This Omniwomen panel and keynote address was designed to create a dialogue around the challenges facing women as they ascend in their creative careers, and provide tips on succeeding once you're there.

The?was kicked off with a keynote from Kat Gordon, Founder of the 3% Conference, who later joined a panel made up of Jean Bathanny, ECD, DDB Chicago; Lauren Connolly, ECD, BBDO; and Rob Schwartz, CEO, TBWA\Chiat\Day. Debbie Millman, Chief Marketing Officer of Sterling Brands, moderated the discussion.
